Kidnap

As I was walking home from school, I noticed a black-coloured van waiting opposite my house. I walked hurriedly towards my house. Suddenly, the van started its engine, sped towards me and blocked me from entering my house. The door of the van opened and a burly man came out. I was frightened and I dashed towards my house. Before I had reached the front door, the man grabbed me and shoved me roughly into the van. I struggled but it was useless, as he had tied me up with rope. I also tried to scream but the man had stuffed my mouth with a piece of cloth. I trembled with fear and my heart pounded madly as I lay there uncomfortably on the floor.
After some time, the van stopped. The man opened the door and dragged me out onto the ground. Then he dragged me into an old broken down house surrounded by forest.
Once inside, he locked the door and took out a handphone. He told me to call my parents. When I refused, he took out a knife and flashed it at me, so I reluctantly called my parents and the kidnapper demanded that they must pay a large ransom if they wanted me returned alive. He told them to pack it into a suitcase and put it a few metres away from the house. When he had finished speaking, he sat down on a chair and looked through the window to watch for them.
Soon, the kidnapper spotted a suitcase outside the house. He became excited and ran outside to take the suitcase. But when he opened it, he was shocked! I saw that it was empty. Then the kidnapper's face turned red with anger and he threw the suitcase away. Suddenly, men in police uniforms ran towards him from behind. The kidnapper panicked when he saw them and tried to escape, but it was of no use. They handcuffed him and brought him to a police car to be sent to the police station. A few of the policemen came into the house and untied me. They then brought me home.
At home, my parents cried tears of joy when they saw me safe and sound. They were worried when I did not return home for lunch, and terrified when they received the kidnapper's call. A few days later, I learnt that the kidnapper had been sent to jail for three years for kidnapping me.
